PETRA-HRG will have a new visiting student from the China University of Geosciences, Beijing (CUGB) next academic year (Michaelmas 2022). Bing Yu, a student of Prof. Santosh, was successful in her application to the Chinese Science Council for support to visit for a year, the same scheme that Shengkai applied to (and was also successful with).
She will bring along some Archean-Proterozoic rocks from her study regions in central China and India.
